O książce „Księga strachów” czytaj tutaj.
Obrazek nawiązuje do harcerskiej gry, gdzie harcerze odwiedzają miejsca w których rzekomo straszy i zostawiają tam tablice „sprawdzono, strachów nie ma”.
Wygląda na to, że tym razem mogli coś przeoczyć 🙂
Na obrazku przedstawiony są ruiny młyna nazywane „Topielec”. Zgodnie z opisaną w książce legendą, młyn był własnością niezwykle skąpego młynarza. Ten najpierw zagłodził swoją żonę na śmierć, a następnie oszalał i w końcu utopił się koło własnego młyna. Od tego czasu jego duch pojawia się w tym miejscu. Co prawda legenda nic nie wspomina o duchu żony, ale uważam, że taka zagłodzona żona też powinna zostać duchem.

The picture refers to a scouting game where scouts visit allegedly haunted places and leave ‘checked, no ghosts here’ signs.
It looks like the scouts might have missed something this time 🙂
The picture shows the ruins of a watermill called ‘The Drowned Man’. According to the legend described in the book, the mill was owned by an extremely stingy miller. He first starved his wife to death, then he went mad and finally he drowned himself near the mill. Since then, his ghost has been appearing there. Admittedly, the legend mentions nothing about the wife’s ghost, but I believe that such a starved wife is likely to become a ghost too.
